Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance in Tunisia Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps in Tunisia displayed varied performance trends, as captured by Sensor Tower data.

Google Earth maintained a relatively stable download rate, starting with about 5.3K downloads in early July, dipping mid-quarter, and then climbing back to over 5.4K by mid-September. Its weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, peaking at just over 35K in early July and late September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a decline in downloads from approximately 5.3K in early July to about 1.2K in late August, before a modest recovery to 2.5K by mid-September. Active users also fluctuated, reaching over 72K in early July and recovering to similar levels by the end of the quarter.

Airbnb experienced a decrease in downloads from 3.1K in early July to just above 1K in late August, followed by an uptick to 3.6K in mid-September. The active user base mirrored this pattern, starting at around 25K, dropping, and then recovering to about 27K by mid-September.

ITAKA - Holidays, Travel had a notable drop in downloads from 2.7K in early July to just 18 in late September. Active users also declined from 9.4K in early July to about 5.6K by the end of the quarter.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker showed a steady download rate with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, achieving 2K downloads by late September. Revenue for this app fluctuated, peaking at $91 in the second week of July. Active users started at around 10K, dipped mid-quarter, and ended at about 8.7K.
